Wassup my fellow Fallout New Vegas fans! One of my favorite things in New Vegas is the companions. I love getting to know their stories which are usually fairly interesting. I love to see the way they flesh out to become more dynamic as you get to know them. This list is not necessarily in order. Coming in at number 10 we have Riddick by Dragbody! Here we have one of my favorite dark and broody movie characters Riddick. He is an amazing addition to any team. With over lines of voice-acted dialogue and a very unique demeanor that is just like the actual character, this mod is great. You can really feel all the passion and hard work that was put into this by the modder. The mod starts with a small but fun quest that takes you to find Riddick. All in all, this is a great mod and worth the download. Coming in at number 9 we have Unlimited Companions by Olegbl! This mod right here aims to give you the ability to have up to twelve companions at one time and delivers just that. The Unlimited Companions mod is one of the funnest most over-powered mods out there. It feels pretty awesome to roll into an area full of enemies and just watch your follower army decimate them. This enables a ruler playthrough which is actually pretty fun to do and goes along well with killing house and taking over. Coming in at number 8 we have The Ares Project by DizzasterJuice! The Ares Project is a really cool mod for many reasons. First and foremost you get access to Andrea. She is a fully voice-acted companion who comes with her own armor sets, quest as well a home. She also has the unique addition of being an android with a complicated backstory that is fun to learn. The best thing about this mod has to be the access you get to her fighter jet during the battle at hoover dam. Yep, you read that right. Download this mod to get in on the fun. Coming in at number 7 we have Vanessa by GePalladium! Vanessa is such an amazing mod that I had a hard time deciding where to put her. We are talking about a companion mod that has over lines of dialogue. Vanessa has a very unique personality and more than a good eye for dropping your enemies. She also comes with new pip-boy icons and more than a few quests that not only flesh her out but actually make her more useful as well. Vanessa will really make you care for her as she is very well voice-acted by a professional. Download this mod and learn your own love for this Mojave sweetheart. Coming in at number 6 we have Joshua Graham-Fully Voiced Companion by LegionaryH! This mod right here was like a dream come true for me. Joshua Graham is the enigmatic burning man of the legend that you meet in the honest hearts DLC. In my opinion, he is one of the best characters in the whole game. Now with this mod, you get to have him as a fully voice-acted follower with his own companion wheel and perk. Coming in at number 5 we have the Ulysses Companion Mod by Cirosan! Very similar to the last mod this one takes one of the best characters in the entire game and makes them a fully voice-acted companion. Ulysses was one of the couriers hired by victor just like the player character. He ends up being the main antagonist of the Lonesome Road DLC but has a presence in the entire vanilla game as well as the DLCs. As you might be able to tell by now, I really love mods that allow you to use antagonists as companions. This is another really well-made one. With over lines of dialogue and the ability to talk directly to Mr. House without going to the Lucky 38, this mod is not only awesome but convenient as well. If you like House and his style then this is the mod for you. Coming in at number 3 we have The Storyteller Companion by Shoddycast! The Storyteller is a wanderer just like the Courier. He travels the wastes looking for interesting stories to tell. He comes with a very cool feature where every time you give him a pre-war book he will tell you a story. He is fully voiced and his stories come with videos. This is a very well mod and perfect for lore munchers. Coming in at number 2 we have Willow by llamaRCA! Willow is one of the best-endorsed companion mods on the Nexus and for good reason. Willow has over lines of dialogue written and performed very-well by the modder. She comes with quests that are fairly involved and entertaining. She has the best-fleshed personality and will comment on everything from your faction allegiances to your everyday choices. She also interacts with the vanilla follower which makes her feel apart of the Mojave instead of a guest to it. Download this mod and find out why most believe her to be the best companion mod. Coming in at number 1 we have Nick Valentine by Tankgirl and Dragbody! This mod is a favorite of a lot of people. Nick really feels like he belongs there. You get to find him in his own agency and undertake missions to help Nick make the Mojave a better place.
